Can you believe that May is already here?! It is unbelievable how fast the days are passing. Here we are, closing in on the final weeks of school! Below are a few Sunshine School reminders and announcements to help your month go by smoothly.

There are still spots available for our Summer Program for families who wish to sign up! Details and early bird specials can be found below. The last early bird special deadline is April 30th!

Preschool Graduation
Sunshine School will be having our Preschool Graduation event on Friday, May 26th. The event will take place at the Sierra Preschool Location (3412 Sierra Rd) from 10:30am to 11:30am. Parents are welcomed!

Teacher Appreciation Week!
Our Preschool Locations will celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week from May 8th to May 12th. Here are some suggestions on what you can do to say thank you for all their hard work!

• Monday: Card Day, write a note or make your teacher a card to say thank you
• Tuesday: Sweet Day, bring them something sweet and yummy
• Wednesday: Fruit Day, bring them a piece of fruit
• Thursday: Flower Day, bring a flower or draw a picture of one
• Friday: Open Day, give or make anything else you'd like OR donate school supplies (books, markers, etc..)

Memorial Day!
Sunshine School will be CLOSED on Monday, May 29th to observe Memorial Day.

2023 - 2024 School Year Attendance Survey
We are starting to make preparations for the upcoming school year! Please take the time to fill out this survey so that we can get a head start on classroom and transportation arrangements for the 2023-2024 school year.

Tuition
Tuition is due by the 1st of every month. Parents may check their balance online at www.mysunshineschool.com. Please pay the amount owed by May 10th or a late fee of 10% will apply. Thank you for your cooperation!

Since there is only one week of the After School program this year in June, your June tuition will be collected along with your May tuition. 

Extracurricular Make-up Classes
Make-up dates for cancelled classes are listed below:

• Cartoon Class: May 24th (for cancelled class on April 5th)
• Kung Fu Class: May 25th (for cancelled class on March 9th)
• Soccer Class: May 25th (for cancelled class on March 9th)

Sunshine School will be CLOSED on Monday, May 29th to observe Memorial Day.

Warm Weather Reminders
As we approach the warmer months, we would like to remind parents to pack sunscreen/sunblock, a hat, as well as a refillable water bottle for students to bring to school/Sunshine everyday. 

Registration for our Summer Program is now open! Our Summer 2023 Program Packet will detail all the information you need to know about our camp this summer. Register now to receive our early bird specials!
