Greetings Sunshine Family,

This is the October Edition of our Parent Newsletter. Below you will find some helpful reminders and information to help your month go by smoothly!

Halloween Trick-or-Treat Event
On Monday, October 31st, Sunshine Preschool Locations will be holding a Halloween Trick-or-Treat Event. The event will begin at 10:30am. Come to Sunshine dressed in your Halloween Costumes for a festive day of sweets and fun!

Tuition
Tuition is due by the 1st of every month. Parents may check their balance online at www.mysunshineschool.com. Please pay the amount owed by the 10th of every month or a late fee of 10% will apply. Thank you for your cooperation.

• Please note that the week of October 31st to November 4th is counted towards October tuition. Therefore there will be five weeks of tuition due for the month of October.

Kindergarten to 2nd Grade Workbooks
Our Kindergarteners to 2nd Graders will begin utilizing their Sunshine Workbooks this upcoming month, so please note that a one-time only workbook fee will be charged for these students for the month of October. 

Halloween Trick-or-Treat Event
On Monday, October 31st, we will be holding a Halloween Trick-or-Treat Event (on Campus). We will be passing out treats among our Sunshine Classrooms as well as goodie bags. Come to school in your Halloween Costumes for a festive day of sweets and fun!

Families are welcome to contribute candies (no nuts), snack packs, small toys, erasers, etc. for the goodie bags. Please feel free to drop off your contribution at the Sunshine Office (1363 Turlock Lane) or give it to your child's lead teacher during pick-up time by Friday, October 28th.

Please note that costumes and contributions are optional and not required. 

FAQ
What should my child bring to Sunshine?

• A FACEMASK (and a spare if needed) everyday. All students are required to wear a facemask that covers their mouth and nose while indoors at Sunshine. Exceptions are only for students with a medical condition, mental health condition, or disability that prevents wearing a face covering.
• Bring SUNBLOCK (labeled with your child's name) everyday. 
• A REUSABLE WATER BOTTLE every day.
• CUP AND BOWL(S) (labeled with your child's name) for lunch and snack (lunch is provided for TK students only) everyday. Sunshine wants to go green! Help us in our efforts to become less wasteful!
• In addition to these items, Kindergarten students will need to bring ONE CHANGE OF CLOTHES to be kept in their cubby at Sunshine.
