Greetings Sunshine Family!

October has flown by and the season to give thanks is fast approaching. Sunshine School is continually thankful for our dedicated staff, our supportive parents, and our hardworking students! We hope everyone is ready for the many fun activities and celebrations coming around in the next few months! 

Halloween Trick-or-Treat Event at After School Program
A friendly reminder that on Monday, October 31st, we will be holding a small Halloween Trick-or-Treat Event (on Campus). We will be passing out treats among our Sunshine Classrooms as well as goodie bags. Have your child come to Sunshine in their Halloween Costumes for a festive day of sweets and fun!

Families are welcome to contribute candies (no nuts), snack packs, small toys, erasers, etc. for the goodie bags. Please feel free to drop off your contribution at the Sunshine Office (1363 Turlock Lane) or give it to your child's lead teacher during pick-up time by Friday, October 28th.

Please note that costumes and contributions are optional and not required.

Halloween Picture Day & Trick-or-Treat
A friendly reminder that on Monday, October 31st, our preschool locations will be holding a Halloween Picture Day and Trick-or-Treat Event. Come to school in your Halloween Costumes (optional) for a festive day of sweets and fun!

Holidays
Sunshine School will be CLOSED on Thursday, November 24th and Friday, November 25th to observe Thanksgiving.

Mask Donations
Sunshine School preschool locations are currently requesting donations for children's face masks. Please feel free to drop off your donation during drop-off or pick-up time to your child's program director or teacher. 

Tuition
Tuition is due by the 1st of every month. Parents may check their balance online at www.mysunshineschool.com. Please pay the amount owed by the 10th of every month or a late fee of 10% will apply. Thank you for your cooperation.

November Full Day Program for Veteran's Day and Thanksgiving Break
Sunshine School will be open on November 10th & 11th (Veteran's Day Break) and November 21st - 23rd (Thanksgiving Break) from 9:00 AM - 6:30 PM. Families will need to sign-up and pay to reserve a space for their child during those dates. Families can pay online through their Sunshine account or at the Sunshine Office (1363 Turlock Lane).

Space is LIMITED so please sign up as soon possible. The tuition rate is $350 for all five days or $88 per day. Breakfast, lunch, and snack will be provided.

Picture Day
Sunshine School will have our annual Picture Day in late November. Further details will be sent to parents once dates are finalized. 

Holidays

FAQ
What should my child bring to Sunshine's After School Program?

• A FACEMASK (and a spare if needed) everyday. All students are required to wear a facemask that covers their mouth and nose while indoors at Sunshine. Exceptions are only for students with a medical condition, mental health condition, or disability that prevents wearing a face covering.
• Bring SUNBLOCK (labeled with your child's name) everyday. 
• A REUSABLE WATER BOTTLE every day.
• CUP AND BOWL(S) (labeled with your child's name) for lunch and snack (lunch is provided for TK students only) everyday. Sunshine wants to go green! Help us in our efforts to become less wasteful!
• In addition to these items, Kindergarten students will need to bring ONE CHANGE OF CLOTHES to be kept in their cubby at Sunshine.
