Greetings Sunshine Family!

At Sunshine, the safety and health of our students and staff are our primary goal. Due to the current rise in COVID-19 cases in our county, we would like to encourage families to be on the alert for signs of illness in their children. If your child is feeling sick or you suspect COVID-19 exposure, please stay home and get tested.

Moreover, if your child has been considered a close contact to a COVID-19 positive case at their school, at home, extracurricular programs, etc., please do not send your child to Sunshine until he or she receives a negative COVID-19 test result. Please refer to the following COVID-19: Home Isolation & Quarantine Guidelines for more information regarding individuals with different vaccination statuses and exposures. 

We would also like to quickly thank all the families who have been cooperating diligently with our administration; informing us of close contact cases with anonymity, keeping children home when they’re sick, and your support and understanding during this challenging time. Let’s continue to work together to keep our school community safe.
