Greetings Sunshine Family!

October has flown by and the season to give thanks is fast approaching. Sunshine School is continually thankful for our dedicated staff, our supportive parents, and our hardworking students! We hope everyone is ready for the many fun activities and celebrations coming around in the next few months!

At Sunshine, the safety and health of our students and staff are our primary goal. We encourage families to be on the alert for signs of illness in their children and to keep them home when they are sick.  

Please review our COVID-19 SOP Protocols for more information and future references. 

Halloween Picture Day & Trick-or-Treat
A friendly reminder that on Friday, October 29th, our preschool locations will be holding a Halloween Picture Day and Trick-or-Treat Event. Come to school in your Halloween Costumes (optional) for a festive day of sweets and fun!

Holidays
Sunshine School will be CLOSED on November 25th and 26th to observe Thanksgiving.

Tuition
Tuition is due by the 1st of every month. Parents may check their balance online at www.mysunshineschool.com. Please pay the amount owed by November 10th or a late fee of 10% will apply. Thank you for your cooperation. 

Halloween Trick-or-Treat Event
A friendly reminder that on Friday, October 29th, we will be holding a Halloween Trick-or-Treat Event (on Campus). We will be passing out treats among our Sunshine Classrooms as well as goodie bags. Come to school in your Halloween Costumes for a festive day of sweets and fun!

Please note that costumes are optional and not required. 

Chinese Class Make-up Days
Due to our Halloween Event on Friday, October 29th, Friday's Chinese Class will be rescheduled. The Kindergarten class will have their Chinese class this Thursday, October 28th. 1st and 2nd graders will have their Chinese class on Wednesday, November 3rd. 

Picture Day
We will be having our Sunshine Picture Day on Thursday, November 4th and Friday, November 5th this year. Picture order forms will be sent home on Thursday, October 28th. Please make sure to bring your order forms back by Thursday, November 4th.

  • Kindergarten & 1st Grade: Thursday, November 4th
  • 2nd Grade & Up + Sibling Photos: Friday, November 5th
• Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be no class photo this year, only class picture composites. 

November Full-Day Program 
Sunshine School will be open on November 11th (Veteran's Day) and November 22nd - 24th (Thanksgiving Break) from 9:00 AM - 6:30 PM. Parents will need to sign-up and pay to reserve a space for their child during those dates. Parents can pay online through their Sunshine account or at the Sunshine Office (1363 Turlock Lane). Space is LIMITED so please sign up as soon possible. The tuition is $200 for all four days or $60 per day.
