Greetings Sunshine Family,

October has flown by and the season to give thanks is fast approaching. Sunshine School is continually thankful for our dedicated staff, our supportive parents, and our hardworking students! We hope everyone is ready for the many fun activities and celebrations coming around in the next month!

Sunshine School, in conjuction with Second Harvest Food Bank, will be running our Annual Food Drive from November 1st to December 2nd. Join in our efforts to collect and donate goods to those in need. We hope we can come together and make a difference in our community! 

Come kick off a great Thanksgiving with an invigorating fun run or walk in the park! Sunshine School will be hosting a Turkey Trot on Saturday, November 19th at 10:00 AM at Pentitencia Creek Park. The top 5 winners will win a TURKEY! 
*There is a 1 prize per family limit. Arrive 15 minutes early to allow for stretching & to prepare. We look forward to the fun!

A Big Thank You!!
We would like to give a big THANK YOU to the parents who volunteered to help us on our field trip to Ardenwood Historic Farm. Your support means everything and we are grateful for your help!


Picture Days
Sierra Preschool will be having picture day on Tuesday, November 1st at 9:00 AM.
Vinci Park Preschool will be having picture day on Friday, November 4th at 9:00 AM.


Holidays
Sunshine School will be CLOSED on November 24th and 25th to observe Thanksgiving.

Tuition
Tuition is due by the 1st of every month. Parents, please pay the amount owed by November 10th or a late fee of 10% will apply. Thank you for your cooperation. 
 

Picture Days
J2, B1 & B2 Classes will be taking their pictures on Thursday, November 3rd.
K1, K2, A1 & J1 Classes will be taking their pictures on Friday, November 4th. 
Students have the option of taking their portraits with an accessory. If parents would like their children to take their picture with a prop (teddy bear, book, toy, etc.), please send the accessory to school with your child on their picture day.
 

Hallelujah Night at Lewis Memorial Church
On the evening of October 31st, Lewis Memorial Church will hold an event at the Church from 5:00 P.M. -8:00 P.M for the community. Sunshine students are more than welcome to attend. This event will primarily be taking place in the front of the property along the gate. It will also include a fall themed photo booth! 


Holidays
Sunshine School will be OPEN on the following days: November 11th (Veteran's Day), November 21st, 22nd, and 23rd.  If you need daycare for these days, please inquire and sign up with your lead teacher. If there are additional fees, you may include the amount to your November tuition. Sunshine School will be CLOSED on November 24th and 25th to observe Thanksgiving.
