This coming week will be Week 7 of our Sunshine Summer Program. The theme will be ~

                                     

Below you will find some helpful reminders and information to help your week go by smoothly. ​Thank you for staying updated with the Sunshine School Newsletter!
                                                                     Field Trip Information

                      

  • Field Trips on Monday, July 25th:

    • Google 1 will go to Pizza My Heart. Please, make sure to arrive at 8:30 AM on this day. 

    • Amazon (18 students) will have Cooking Class at Turlock ~ Making Mini-Pizzas & Bubble Tea. Please, make sure to arrive at 9:30 AM on this day.

  • Field Trips on Tuesday, July 26th:​

    • Yahoo & Twitter will go to Pizza My Heart. Please, make sure to arrive at 8:30 AM on this day. Kindergarten Parents will need to bring their child's car seat or booster seat for this field trip.

    • Amazon (18 students) will have Cooking Class at Turlock ~ Making Mini-Pizzas & Bubble Tea. Please, make sure to arrive at 9:30 AM on this day.

  • Field Trips on Wednesday, July 27th:​

    • Google 2 will go to Pizza My Heart. Please, make sure to arrive at 8:30 AM on this day. 

    • Facebook will have Cooking Class at Turlock ~ Making Mini-Pizzas & Bubble Tea. Please, make sure to arrive at 9:30 AM on this day

  • For your child's field trip day, parents, please remember to have students wear their yellow sunshine t-shirt and bring a bag lunch (in a disposable bag, to make it easy on children during the field trip). If students do not wear their sunshine t-shirt or bring a bag lunch, they will not be able to go on the field trip. 

  • Field Trip Policy - If a student misbehaves during their field trip, he or she is not allowed to attend the next week's field trip as a consequence. 

                                        Summer Program Reminders

July Tuition Reminder
Parents are required to pay by the Deadline for any and all weeks that are in a Payment Session, unless Summer Program Tuition was paid in FULL. The deposit amount will be applied to your child's last week in the Summer Program. 

      


Morning Classes (Soccer, Kung Fu & Dance)
If your child has soccer, kung fu, or dance class scheduled as a morning activity, please have your child eat breakfast at home. You may view the morning classes schedule below:

Extracurricular Classes 
We will have a Zumba make-up class for the class that was missed on Wednesday, July 20th (Session 1).  The Zumba make-up class will be on Friday, July 29th from 9:30 - 10:15 AM. The ​Extracurricular Class Schedule is below:
             

Items to Bring to School Everyday
Just a quick reminder, please pack these items for your children EVERYDAY -

  • Water Bottle 
  • Sun Block and a Hat
  • 2 Sets of Cups and Bowls
    Plastic is preferred. Please, no glass or ceramic bowls/cups. Thank you! 
                                          Swimming Class Reminders

Sunshine School will partner with Milpitas Star Aquatics to host swim lessons for students in Grades 1 - 12. The Swimming Class schedule is listed below:

                           

For every swimming class, students should bring a bag labeled with first and last names containing their:

  • Swimming Suit
  • Flip - Flops
  • Towel
  • Goggles
  • Clean Set of Changing Clothes
