Greetings Sunshine Family,

We all had so much fun during this past week. We just can't wait for all the creative crafts lined up for Week 5, Product Design (DIY - Do It Yourself) Week! During DIY Week, students will be discovering new ways to reuse materials and create brand new products. Below you will find some helpful reminders and information to help your week go by smoothly!

• This next week's field trip will be to the Pump It Up (Kindergarten & 1st Grade Classes) and Rockin' Jump (2nd Grade and Up)! The field trips will take place on Tuesday, July 12th. Please, make sure to arrive before 10:00 AM on this day. 

• For this week's field trip, parents will need to complete a waiver/consent form for their child. For Pump It Up, you may print out the form here - Pump It Up Waiver - and return it to your lead teacher. For Rockin' Jump, you may print out the form here - Rockin' Jump Waiver - and return it to your lead teacher. All forms must be submitted by 6 PM on Monday, July 11th in order to attend the field trip. 

• For your child's field trip day, parents, please remember to have students wear their yellow sunshine t-shirt and bring a bag lunch (in a disposable bag, to make it easy on children during the field trip). If students do not wear their sunshine t-shirt or bring a bag lunch, they will not be able to go on the field trip. 

• Field Trip Policy - If a student misbehaves during their field trip, he or she is not allowed to attend the next week's field trip as a consequence. 

                                        Summer Program Reminders

July Tuition Reminder
July 1st is the deadline for the second payment session. Parents are required to pay by the Deadline for any and all weeks that are in a Payment Session, unless Summer Program Tuition was paid in FULL. The deposit amount will be applied to your child's last week in the Summer Program. 

Morning Classes (Soccer & Kung Fu)
If your child has soccer or kung fu class scheduled as a morning activity, please have your child eat breakfast at home. You may view the morning classes schedule below:

Items to Bring to School Everyday
Just a quick reminder, please pack these items for your children EVERYDAY -

• Water Bottle 
• Sun Block and a Hat
• 2 Sets of Cups and Bowls
  Plastic is preferred. Please, no glass or ceramic bowls/cups. Thank you! 

Sunshine School will partner with Milpitas Star Aquatics to host swim lessons for students in Grades 1 - 12. The Swimming Class schedule is listed below:

                           

For every swimming class, students should bring a bag labeled with first and last names containing their:

• Swimming Suit
• Flip - Flops
• Towel
• Goggles
• Clean Set of Changing Clothes

Sunshine School would like to share with parents our Referral Bonus Opporunity.  The Referral Bonus Opportunity will award families who refer new families to Sunshine School. If you refer a new family to our school and they join the school community, you may receive a Referral Bonus as our way of saying thank you for your trust and confidence. A Referral Bonus is gifted in the form of credit in which parents can use towards their tuition. The Referral Bonus Opporunity is only available to families enrolled in our full-time programs. Below you may find details regarding each of our programs:

• Preschool Referral Bonus Opporunity 
  • Referral Bonus will be credited to existing family once new family completes three months in our full-time Preschool Program.
  • The Referral Bonus for our Preschool Program is $200.00 credit that the family may use towards their child's tuition.
     
• After School Referral Bonus Opportunity
  • Referral Bonus will be credited to existing family once new family completes three months in our full-time After School Program. 
  • The Referral Bonus for our After School Program is $100.00 credit that the family may use towards their child's tuition
     
• Summer Referral Bonus Opportunity
  • ​Referral Bonus will be credited to existing family once new family completes six weeks in our full-time Summer Program. 
  • The Referral Bonus for our Summer Program is $100.00 credit that the family may use towards their child's tuition
