Greetings Sunshine Family,
The first week of our summer program was awesome! The artistic creations from the students were truly amazing. Next week's theme is Spectacular Science! Students will learn through experimenting with various ideas, materials, and fun activities. Our older classes will be doing science projects this week that involve using plastic bottles. We ask parents to help collect and bring in some bottles. Please, see details below:
- Parents of Google 1 & 2 students, please bring two 500 milliliter plastic bottles for your child to use by Wednesday (6/22)
- Parents of Amazon and Facebook students, please help bring one 2 liter bottle and one 500 milliliter bottle for your child to use by Wednesday (6/22).
Thank you for your assistance in preparing supplies for your children.

Week 2's field trip is to the Movie Theater to see the new Angry Birds Movie! The field trip will take place on Tuesday, June 21st. Please, make sure to arrive before 10:00 AM on this day.

For your child's field trip day, parents, please remember to have students wear their yellow sunshine t-shirt and bring a bag lunch (in a disposable bag, to make it easy on children during the field trip). If students do not wear their sunshine t-shirt or bring a bag lunch, they will not be able to go on the field trip.

Field Trip Policy - If a student misbehaves during their field trip, he or she is not allowed to attend the next week's field trip as a consequence.
Summer Program Reminders
Morning Classes (Soccer & Kung Fu)
If your child has soccer or kung fu class scheduled as a morning activity, please have your child eat breakfast at home. You may view the morning classes schedule below:

Sunshine School Menu
Sunshine School does not provide a special menu to children with special diets. If your child is not able to eat certain foods or is allergic, it is a safer option for those children to bring their own breakfast, lunch, and/or snacks to school.
Extracurricular Classes
Extracurricular Class Sign-Up is closed. The class list is set in preparation for the classes to begin during Week 4 of summer program.
Lost & Found
Lost and found items are located in the Turlock Office. We encourage parents to label all items (clothing, water bottle, cups and bowls, etc.) that your children bring to school with their names.
Items to Bring to School Everyday
Just a quick reminder, please pack these items for your children EVERYDAY -
- Water Bottle
- Sun Block and a Hat
- 2 Sets of Cups and Bowls
Plastic is preferred. Please, no glass or ceramic bowls/cups. Thank you!
